Isabel Shech

Isabel’s role as Community Engagement Manager is to be a point of connection for Boardified’s program alumni – both professional and volunteer leaders. She thrives when hosting Lunch Clubs, driving marketing strategy, and adaptive program and resource development. Isabel also leads the Technical Assistance Collaborative’s operations and strategic partnerships, supporting Chicagoland Jewish professionals through coaching, workshops, and microgrants. She has served as a volunteer leader with AJC, ADL, and Honeymoon Israel.

Isabel earned her M.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.A. in Philosophy from Duquesne University, and a B.A. in Philosophy from the Munich School of Philosophy. She grew up in Germany, and lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and a steadily growing collection of coffee brewing devices, Hebrew textbooks, and home crafted ceramics. She loves celebrating her family’s multicultural heritage by diving elbow-deep into her next elaborate culinary project. Isabel can be reached at
